The Conqueror of my Challenges !!!

We all have bad days, weeks, sometimes months, even a bad year. Yet the goal is to make it better, you never want to stay there. Sometimes we even have bad seasons of the year or of our lives. I try to be as positive as possible even when things are not going as I would like. I would rather refer to the bad times a challenging times. I prefer the term challenging because I feel accomplished when I conquer a challenge. I would have to describe the last two years as a season of ups and downs. The good thing is even when the challenging down times came I never stayed there. That is a testament to my growth, because I know I had seasons of depression and that was tough but I know I have been delivered from depression.
I am now a person who has learned how to pray my way through the storms or challenges. I don’t allow myself to get to a point where I could get down and out and take myself back to depression. We all must strive to be a better version of ourselves. We should never be stagnant in anything especially the negative aspects of life. Prayer and my relationship with Christ is what gets me through the challenging times of life.

I strongly advise those who don’t have a constant prayer life and relationship with Christ get it and build that relationship. When your faith is Christ and you know He will get you through you can conquer every challenge that comes your way. God is the source and strength of my life I wouldn’t be who I am and where I am without Him. This scripture is a great one to focus on
John 14:12-15 KJV [12] Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. [13] And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. [14] If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. [15] If ye love me, keep my commandments. …

God ask for us to believe in him and keep his commandments and He does above and beyond all that we could ask or think. He is the conqueror of my challeneges.

Celebrating a King

As we celebrate this day that was set aside to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. , I choose not to post fashion today. I just want us to remember all that he sacrificed and did for us to live in equality.

Would he be pleased with where we are now, no I don’t think so. Although we have come far we still have a long way to go. We must work hard to carry on the legacy of all he fought for.

My 3 Most Important Steps To Reach Your Goals!!!

Three important steps to help you fulfill your visions. We all create visions and goals to accomplish in the new year whether we are finishing goals of the previous year or starting something new. We all strive to accomplish goals whether we call them New Years resolutions or not. We say I will do this that and the other we start working on these goals and visions and two weeks a month down the line we have lost sight and forgotten all about the goals. I know this all to well because I have experienced it several times.

Now let’s talk about the Three important steps that will help you fulfill your visions and goals.

Step 1) Make up your mind that this is what you desire to do. You must make it up in your mind it has to be set in your thoughts that this is something you will accomplish. Thinking about it is one thing, but to make it up in your mind and have your mind focused on your goal says you are ready to pursue that goal.
Step 2) Create step by step plans on how you will complete this goal. You have to have a plan you can’t just fly by the seat of your pants. You have to have an organized agenda in order to reach your goals. So you must know what you will do daily, weekly and monthly in order to achieve the completion of your vision.
Step 3) Follow through with you plans and the procedures. I think this is the hardest step, it’s easy to make up your mind and creating a plan but to actually do it it’s a step up. You have to be self motivated in order to follow through with you agenda. It’s important to stay on schedule if you want to finish by a specific date.
When it comes down to accomplishing your visions and goals you have to make up your mind and know this is what you desire to do. Then you must sit down and create a plan to follow in order to complete your goals. The final but must important thing you must do is follow through with the plans. In the words of Nike Just Do It. I beleive if you follow these steps you can accomplish your goals and visions. In the end you will be proud of what you have been able to complete.
